Creepypasta has since become a catch-all term for any horror content posted onto the internet. These Internet entries are often brief, user-generated, paranormal stories intended to scare readers." (Wikipedia) Even though Creepypastas have fallen out of popularity, it is still a cultural pillar of the internet. Along with notable alternate reality games, the internet has created its unique brand of horror.
