The Butterfly Project: Examining Social Programs and Criteria Within an ESG Framework (2nd Webinar)
In the first of many inquiries to be undertaken through Airlink's Butterfly Project, we invite senior leaders from across the aviation sector to share successful and innovative examples of 'Social' programs and how they and their defining criteria fit within the context of an ESG framework. In this 2nd webinar, we will hear from John Mowry, Managing Director of Alton Aviation Consultancy, a provider of consultancy services to a global client list of aviation-focused businesses. The 'Social' component of ESG examines how a business manages relationships with employees, suppliers, customers, and the communities where it operates. It is a critical but often less talked about part of a successful ESG corporate agenda. Over three webinars Airlink invited leaders from successful aviation businesses to come and share their experience, insight, and the make-up of their company's 'Social' programs. In this second session, we also polled attendees (leaders from across the aviation sector) as to their views on ESG. After the presentation by John Mowry, the floor was opened for Q and A as well as a discussion about the challenges of forming a successful program. Attendees were also encouraged to share highlights from their own program. The product of this inquiry will be an Airlink-produced, example-focused best practice guide which will be accessible through the Airlink website, along with further articles and interviews from across the sector highlighting successful 'Social' programs.
