The "Bm" Chord Trick Famous Bands Use ALL the Time!

So, what‘s an alternative? In this lesson, I’m going to cover a trick for when you need to play a “Bm” chord in a song, but you can’t. After students study their open position chords, they’ll start to use them to play songs. Everything tends to go quite well for a period, until they stumble across a song that has a “Bm” chord in it. This is when things may become a challenge. Even though “Bm” barre chord sounds deep, rich and excellent, there’s no question that it is a tough shape. However, I have a solution that players such as Hendrix and famous bands like Metallica will use all the time. The solution stems out of how most introductory chord methods don’t show a shape for “Bm” and “if” it is given, it will be shown as an inversion (which sounds weak). As I mentioned, the best “Bm” is a barre chord, but that shape is difficult for beginners (and a lot of intermediate players too). So, what can be done? In this lesson, I’ve got the perfect “Bm” chord solution for you. My solution can be performed anytime you need a “Bm” and it’s so simple you can stop being stressed out if you cannot yet play the fat sound of a, “Bm” barre chord.
