The biggest ride of my life | Mountains and Mayhem at the Great Southern Brevet

I won't be forgetting this one in a while! My first ever bike packing event and we got it all. Coming in completely unprepared with no training I was expecting to suffer hard. With no idea how far I could ride in a day and planning to sleep just 4hrs a night it was going to be a huge ask and a complete stab in the dark. On top of it all the New Zealand summer didn't play ball with some wild weather rolling in and a lot of time above 1000m this was going to test my Scottish roots more than I bargained for. Sore bum, knee pain and sleeping in ditches paired with spectacular scenery and incredible people. Join me as I take on this immense challenge and meet some of the wonderful people I had the priviledge of sharing this wild adventure with!
