The awarding ceremony of the Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky Medal — 2025 to philosopher, public intellectual Bernard-Henri Lévy and the famous Ukrainian poetess Lina Kostenko in recognition of their fearless commitment to justice and truth. The Ukrainian Jewish Encounter (UJE) and the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine bestow the award to honor individuals in Ukraine, Israel, or from the diasporas who have made significant contributions to Ukrainian-Jewish understanding and cooperation.
