Testing DeepSeek R1 (CHEAP reasoning model comparable to OpenAI o1!) with Cline | Unscripted Coding

When it comes to AI models that are good at coding, I keep going back to Claude 3.5 Sonnet. But today, we get a new competitor in DeepSeek R1 and it is making waves for it's reasoning capabilities and CHEAP cost at 55 cents/million tokens. I walk through my experiences so far with DeepSeek R1, then try it out with an agentic coder (Cline). It's impressive, minus a few minor pitfalls. It seems like a great tool to work with Claude!
