Testing and reviewing the Seismic Megawatt wheels and Seismic bushings on the Pantheon Supersonic
Reviewing the new Seismic bushings measuring at 0.65” height in Bear 130mm trucks on the Pantheon Supersonic and the new 90mm Seismic Megawatt wheels. Overall impressions very solid. The bushing a are slightly “too” tall in the sense that you’re sort of stuffing them into the trucks. Results in a higher duro feel when compared to other bushings. That said, the feel is super good for having freedom at the top of the turn without getting wheelbite, which can be a difficult thing to accomplish with wheels this big. Speaking of wheels, loving the bite on the edge with these wheels. Have ridden nothing but round lips for the past couple years and this is a welcome change. Really gives confident when throwing the board around for big pumps, which you can see me doing after about 2 1/2 minutes. I should’ve said they’re fast at the beginning here, but I sorta figured that went without saying. Certainly straight line fast, but the extra grip makes the pumping even faster. Do recommend. I’m going to go to a softer bushing and see if I can get even more freedom while staying bite free.
