This is PART ONE of a TWO-PART tutorial - starting a new song from an empty project on the Teenage Engineering EP-133 KO II Sampler Sequencer.
This Part I demonstrates 4 (and a half) methods to load sounds into a completely empty project. You will see the 4 methods of
1) loading sounds using the device directly,
2) using the online SAMPLE TOOL APP,
3) copying whole GROUPS of sounds from one project to another, and
4) SAMPLING directly onto the device and chopping that sample across the pads within a sound group
there's also
4.5) loading sounds from your computer, which is the one-half method ;) since you then use method #2 to finish the job...
PART TWO IS HERE! which is a Tutorial for using these sounds we load in Part 1 to compose, Record (ahem, Commit) and perform a song - using patterns, scenes, effects and more... Link:
