Your sewing machine can do a lot more than just straight stitches and zigzags. With the right presser feet, you can gather, ruffle, bind, braid, and even sew invisible zippers like a pro! In this video, I’m diving into the world of presser feet—what they do, how they work, and which ones are actually worth using.
We’ll start with some of the wildest-looking feet—rufflers, gatherers, and braiding feet. These attachments can add professional details to your sewing without any fancy stitches. Then, we move on to the super practical ones, like zipper feet, darning feet, and even a bias binding foot that makes binding so much easier (once you get the hang of it).
Of course, not all presser feet are created equal. Some are absolute must-haves, while others… well, let’s just say they look great in a collection but don’t actually do much.
If you’ve ever wondered what all those presser feet in a 60-piece kit actually do, this video is for you. Which presser feet do you swear by? Drop your favourites (or least favourites) in the comments—I’d love to hear your thoughts!
