Sunbeam 1000hp Rebuild (Part 3) - Restoring the first 200mph land speed car

Henry Segrave's twin-engined 1000hp Sunbeam land speed car, the first to 200mph, is being restored in time for its 100th birthday in 2027. S&G visited the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu in May 2024, to see how things are progressing and to take a closer look at the bare bones of this historic piece of machinery. In Part Three, senior engineer Ian "Stan" Stanfield tells us about the Sunbeam's 22.4 litre V12 engines and their restoration, there are more time-capsule discoveries, and we discover which of the cars at Beaulieu is Stan's favourite.
