Studying the glymphatic system using light sheet microscopy [WEBINAR]
For more information, visit: https://www.miltenyibiotec.com/lp/3D-imaging-workflow-for-neuroscience.html The glymphatic system was discovered in 2012 as an irrigation system in which cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is distributed to the brain via peri-arterial pathways. Such CSF circulation subsequently mediates the clearance of interstitial solutes from the brain, including amyloid beta peptides. In this webinar, Dr. Lundgaard will provide an update on the potential within this field while additionally describing her lab’s experience of being the first to apply optical clearing techniques and light sheet microscopy to the study of the glymphatic system.
