One of these convictions is that the Champions League (European Cup) is far superior to the Europa League (UEFA Cup). Either we believe in that because of the structure of these two distinct competitions and how teams qualify to them, or because of its historic value and name. There are actually no arguments about this topic today, everybody seems to agree that the Champions League is superior to the Europa league. But is it really superior throughout every stage in history ? Are some winners of this competition not getting the recognition they deserve ? In this special episode, I dig deep within that conviction and attempt to prove this theory by asking a simple question: Is the Champions league superior to the Europa League in all stages of history ? And while making this study, I stumbled upon other questions that needed answers like: What are the strongest European competitions in history by season ? and the weakest ? And what is the most difficult triumph in history? and does the name of the competition make a difference in that question ?
