In an 1880s building in Stockholm’s vibrant Södermalm district, art director Cristina Poelk and her partner Anton have crafted a warm and inviting home that blends Scandinavian minimalism with personal charm. Preserving its original layout, they made subtle updates—replacing fixtures and painting the space off-white to enhance natural light. A custom green kitchen with a stainless steel countertop flows into the cozy living area, where a bold modular blue sofa adds flexibility. The bedroom includes a compact workspace, while an adjoining room serves as a walk-in closet and general storage space. Curated art, vintage design, and layered lighting bring warmth and character, making this home a perfect balance of function and aesthetics.
