It's been like 3 years in a row, since 2020, at the same place, even if I'm not present at home, my mom and sister do it because, it's not that my mom was in since the beginning, but then I took the first step with a lot of courage because there was and STILL is quite a bit of resistance by my neighbors though we carry out the whole process very smoothly on an everyday basis. It has been a journey of lying to my mom and hiding my own meal to spending whatever money I had to buy dog food. Initially there was just a mumma dog and her kids, whom I lost because I didn't had enough money to spend on their treatment. Then there came an abandoned abused dog and her baby and an abandoned cat... Food was sufficient for them but then with time more and more Angelic souls joined and we couldn't make their ends meets. The situation is still the same, there are 9-10 dogs, sometimes they also bring in their friends, a cat and some days cows and buffalos also come. We feed them twice even if it's as less as one small bowl of meal, but we do, so that they don't lose hope. Here's a wishlist of food items required majorly for the dogs because they are more in number, we feed roti to the cat and the cattles which isn't a very big deal but feeding dogs is.
