Starting Our Camino, Ep. 1: Into the Pyrenees

What a beautiful beginning to our Fall Camino! This was our fifth time walking into the Pyrenees, the MOST challenging section of the Camino Francés for us. About an hour into the walk, we didn't know if we could make it to Orisson! The elevation change from St. Jean to Orisson is more than 3400 feet up (1000meters) in about 5 miles (8km).
