23 years ago, I wrote a Star Trek Technobabble Generator program in Commodore 64 BASIC, based on the idea from Phil Farrand’s “Nitpicker’s Guide for Next Generation Trekkers: Volume II” book. I show that old program, and then add speech synthesis to it, using both the Currah Speech 64 cartridge, and S.A.M.: The Software Automatic Mouth.
