SST T07 Monte Carlo Integration - Part 1

This is a first lecture on Monte Carlo integration. The key advantage of this methodology is that it overcomes the curse of dimensionality that plagues approximate grid based methods and other numerical approaches to integration. This is a key methodology used in particle filters, which is why this is taught just prior to the introduction of particle filters.
