Sprint Review Experiment
Experiment: sprint review
Problem: We frequently deliver solutions that do not meet the needs of our customers and users. Also, when we fail to show progress, people assume none is being made and assume the worst.
Hypothesis: If we demo our progress on cadence, we increase the odds of building the right thing, can pivot early, and can build trust that progress is being made. We also get buy in on total timelines given the effort it took to get to the current solution in progress.
Time Frame: 3 sprints, pivot or persevere after two
Typical Outcomes: increase solution value, increase collective ownership of results and progress
Skill Growth Criteria: You have crafted a sprint review agenda that embraces the pattern in the Scrum Guide. Your sprint review is not just a demo of the solution, but includes metrics, progress against future goals, impediments, etc.
