Conscientious House Cleaning Day. Morning Spring Routine. Cabbage Pie and Herbal Tea
Spring, full of energy and inspiration.
Let's enjoy the spring weather, birds singing and warm sun.
While I'm waiting for guests, I'll make a delicious cabbage pie, brew some herbal tea. And I also want to refresh my home and fill it with the spring aroma.

Cabbage Pie:
Proportion for 2 pies for a form with a diameter of 25-27 cm
Dough for activating yeast:
300 ml. warm water,
50 grams of pressed (fresh or also called brewer's) yeast (or 15 grams of fast-acting)
4 tbsp. flour
0.5 tbsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
Leave the yeast to activate for 15-20 minutes. As soon as a fluffy foam appears, add 100 ml of vegetable oil and 500-520 grams of flour. Focus on your flour, if it has a high percentage of protein, you may need less flour. I used 520 grams. Knead a soft dough that does not stick to your hands. Leave it to rise, when it rises, lower it, let it rise again and you can bake the pie. This dough is also great for fried pies in oil.
Filling:
A small head of young cabbage,
3 boiled eggs,
green onions,
salt and pepper to taste.
Salt the cabbage, let it sit and squeeze out the juice. Add boiled eggs, green onions, salt and pepper.
❗❗ I recommend stewing the cabbage a little, since the filling from raw cabbage turns out al dente. I like stewed cabbage better, it tastes better to me.
The pie turns out very tasty. You can use any filling, apple or fruit is especially good.❗❗
