🐝 Spring Inspection 2021 | How My Layen's Hives Look After the winter

In this video, I crack open the Layens beehives after winter for the first inspections. I was lucky enough to see some pollen going into the hives randomly in the last couple of weeks and I had my fingers crossed for some good results. This is the first warmish week we've had and the snow is still on the ground in the shady spots. By the looks of the brood nest, this year's bees are just starting to emerge from their cells and the queens were actively laying.
