Zoe Dufour is a sculptor with incredible skill for depicting form. In this lesson you’ll watch her speed sculpt a portrait from life while she explains her process. She’ll show you everything you’ll need to get started, including how she makes her own tools, guides you through the process of setting up the wire armature, building up clay to get the large forms, and taking it to a finish with the details. After the clay sculpt is finished you’ll see how she makes a throwaway plaster mold and a cast with a base.
