More layouts from my first exhibition visit of 2025, which was to the exhibition organised by the Southampton Model Railway Society (SMRS) at the Barton Peveril College, Eastleigh, Hants over the weekend 25th/26th January. Layouts featured are: 00:00 Southampton MRS Exhibition 2025 Part 2 Intro. 00:45 Devils Bridge - 4mm scale; 009, 9mm narrow gauge - Andy Cundick. The inland terminus of the Vale of Rheidol narrow gauge railway in Wales in about 1904. 03:31 Tintagel Road - 4mm scale; 00 gauge - Ian Wilkins, SMRS. Based on Camelford Station, North Cornwall in the period 1930 to 1939. 05:31 Danbee - 7mm scale; 0 gauge - Richard Burkett, SMRS. Fictitious GWR branch line somewhere in the West Country in the 1930s. 09:07 Sandy Shores Light Railway - 4mm scale; 009, 9mm narrow gauge - Jamie Warne. Fictional seaside place somewhere on the South Coast in the early 1950s. 12:55 Longwood Edge - 4mm scale; 18.83mm gauge (P4). Built by the late Iain Rice and presented by the South Hants MRC. A cameo-type layout with tracks on two levels featuring small through stations & good facilities. 15:00 Hepton Wharf - 4mm scale; 18.83mm gauge (P4). Built by the late Iain Rice and presented by the South Hants MRC. Another cameo-type layout featuring a small halt and wharf-side goods facilities. 16:12 Trerice - 4mm scale; 18.83mm gauge (P4). Built by the late Iain Rice and presented by Jerry & Kim Clifford. The last cameo-type layout based on the Cornish clay dry facilities. 18:48 St Holdens - 4mm scale; EM gauge - Richard Gower, Winchester Railway Modellers. Small fictitious terminus station and goods facilities set on the North Essex/Suffolk border. Music: Late Night Train by Vans in Japan (free YouTube download).
