Somerset Reacquainted - Anthotypes: creating photographic prints with natural materials
Somerset Reaquainted - Take Part
Artist Carolyn Lefley shows you how to create prints using natural plant emulsions. Anthotypes can be made with leaves, berries and flowers. Natural stencils are exposed to sunlight to create traditional photographic prints.
Artist-led online workshops, ideas, activities and resources to inspire families to get creative at home, brought to you by Somerset Art Works.
Somerset Reacquainted is a creativity-in-isolation project with Somerset Art Works artist members. The project responds to the unique period of isolation and renewed proximity with the environment, experienced during the global pandemic. Artists have been developing new approaches, capturing encounters with nature and explorations in their own locality. They will be sharing some of their ideas through our online resources.
