This video will show you how easy is solving the Root bone issue in 3ds Max CAT. Root bone is something you need to have when working with game engines and this is the ultimate solution of how to create one.
We will use an export rig for doing that. Created out of regular 3ds Max bones with their own hierarchy where root is the parent of the whole hierarchy. Unlike in 3ds Max CAT, where Pelvis is the parent of everything.
