After nearly 42 years, Chaos Divers, alongside Mike McFerron, Elgin Police Department, Elgin Fire Department, and Kane County Coroner’s Office, has located and recovered the vehicle of missing Karen Schepers. Solved Cold Case Of 42 Years Karen Schepers Found In River. Her vehicle was discovered in the Fox River on March 24 and removed on March 25 with the help of Redmon’s Towing. Human remains were found inside, later confirmed through dental records as Karen. This breakthrough brings long-awaited answers to her family.
