He started his way to the outdoors to lose weight and did lose 30kgs. On his channel, he encourages everyone to get out and enjoy the outdoors and that they don’t need to be an athlete to do so, one just needs to hike their hike and enjoy it safely and everyone has to know their limits! First, he started walking to exercise, then trekking, and later camping and kayaking, abseiling, and caving. Although he enjoys going with friends, doing it solo has taught him to rely on himself and his skills, and that being alone in nature makes your mind relax even more. While doing these activities in his beloved country, he was struck with the idea that he can share the beauty of his country with everyone, and this is when he started his YouTube channel. To do what he does he had to learn many new skills and also learn how to appreciate what he has on his tiny island of Malta. There are no forests but beautiful cliffs and sea views. He also started pushing the Leave No Trace principle in Malta. Pierre’s goals are to enjoy the outdoors so that he doesn’t harm the environment, show people that this can be done, have fun, and leave no trace.
