Dr. Mortimer and Sir Henry Baskerville visit Holmes, revealing a series of strange occurrences—including a missing boot and a mysterious figure tailing them in London. As Sir Henry departs for Baskerville Hall, Watson accompanies him to protect him from potential dangers.
Upon arriving at the eerie moors, Watson encounters suspicious characters, including the secretive butler Barrymore and his wife, who seem to be hiding something. Meanwhile, a convicted murderer, Selden, is on the loose in the area, adding another layer of tension. Watson also meets Stapleton, an eccentric naturalist, and his sister, who oddly warns him to leave Baskerville Hall at once. The sinister presence of the legendary hound looms ever closer, leaving Watson to question whether the danger is supernatural or human.
