Silverwood Lake: Mini Jigging For Trout

In this video, I take a trip to Silverwood Lake on the weekend to fish for some Mt. Lassen Trout. Earlier in the week, the lake was stocked with 5000 pounds of 1-3 pound trout for the first time this season. Being several days after the stock, I tried to fish away from the stocking area (Cleghorn Beach) in hopes the trout have moved out. Fortunately, after some searching, I was able to find a good school of them in a cove closer to the marina. The bite was great in the morning and gradually slowed as the day progressed. This was easily one of my favorite trips in a long time and I hope you enjoy this video.
