SideBySide - In the Heart of Scotland

Now we’re back in Scotland to get a glimpse into Madeleine’s time there, where she worked through several intense and educational weeks. After eight weeks in the beautiful Highlands, working with groups from all over the world, her journey is nearing its end. During these weeks, Madeleine has not only learned a lot from her colleagues but has also taken on the responsibility of cooking for all the groups – breakfast, lunch, and dinner, every day. It’s been a challenge, but also a fantastic opportunity to grow and create memories with people from different cultures. In this episode, we also get to follow Madeleine out into the Highlands as she hunts red deer, a unique and exciting experience that reflects the power and tranquility of nature. Additionally, she’s visited by her friend Caroline Schack, and together they travel to the Isle of Bute on Scotland’s west coast to hunt roe deer – a day filled with friendship, nature, and adventure.
