SHIN GODZILLA (2016) MOVIE REACTION - THIS IS A UNIQUE KAIJU FILM! - FIRST TIME WATCHING - REVIEW

Welcome to our first time watching as we react to Shin Godzilla (2016). The King of the Monsters returns but this time...a little bit different than what we are used to! There was a lot that impressed us here. The great special effects, a narrative that showed us the ins and outs of what a response against a Kaiju would look like every step of the way, some intense action sequences and of course the unique interpretation of Godzilla. Directed by Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi, "Shin Godzilla" offers a modern reimagining of the classic Kaiju franchise, showcasing Godzilla's devastating rampage through Tokyo. The film does an excellent job tackling the themes of disaster, bureaucracy, and human resilience. We did beat him after all! We hope that you enjoy our reactions, commentary and discussions as we delve into the film's potential impact on the kaiju genre, its nods to Godzilla's storied legacy, and of course Gojira's terrifying new set of skills there is a lot of elements in this movie that work and they work well.
