For a large number of photographers working with film, digital output is something we must consider. Today I'm showcasing three options for scanning your large format sheet films: flatbed scanning, DSLR/mirrorless scanning, and drum scanning. To help demonstrate their differences, I'm taking four sheets of 8x10" Fujifilm Velvia 100 and seeing what kind of detail and color I can get out of each method. While there's no way they'll be the same, each method has its advantages and disadvantages.
