The most common integration with Step Functions is AWS Lambda which lets you write custom Functions as Code to "Glue" your application's logic together. In this video, I show you how to create an AWS Step Function that integrates with the AWS Lambda service. I also show you how to consume the input from a step functions invocation from within the Lambda's invocation, and how to "pass along" the output of a Lambda Function to the next step. You'll also learn how to use "Choice" flow controls to implement if/else logic within your Step Function.
