Alongside Florida Fish and Wildlife, MCSO routinely enforces fishing regulations throughout the Florida Keys, both on land and on water. In the end, the 36 year old named Rigoberto pled no contest. His adjudication was withheld and he was sentenced to 6 months of probation during which he is not allowed to fish in Monroe County, 24 hours of community service, and ordered to pay a total of $378 in fines and fees.
