Scotland 2024 - World Championship Island

Scotland has many surprises and a very unusual World Championship Venue is one of them. Continuing our adventures on Scotland's Slate Islands. We travelled over to another of the Islands, Easdale. I got confused this time, as the ferry didn't take vehicles, just foot passengers. There are no roads on Easdale. One of the attractions was to locate the flooded quarry used to stage the World Stone Skimming Championships. It was an easy find for us. Took us the best part of the visit, but we found it in the end. It's only a shame that neither of us made any decent go of the opportunity!!
