My old cyberdeck computer had some issues, so I built another one! This is custom designed for radio and satellite experiments. It's also intended to be part of my exhibit at Open Sauce 2024 (https://opensauce.com/).
The case is a Pelican 1430. The computer is a Raspberry Pi 4B, with 7" touchscreen.
The front panel is laser-cut from HDPE, you can find the file here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6672979
The "drive bays" are 3D printed from this design: https://www.printables.com/es/model/25301-customizeable-box-with-lid/files
The bottom bay holds the main battery (a Voltaic V-88), and the upper bay holds a small tackle box of accessories like cables and adapters. An additional battery fits under the keyboard. A mouse and AC adapter also live in the lid, all stored in places with velcro tape.
