This week we finally get going on our circumnavigation of New Zealand fro Great barrier island, and end up all the way down in Wellington, but on the way, we stop at White Island, or Whakaari (Maori name), where 22 people tragically lost their lives in an unexpected eruption in 2019. To go there after knowing what happened to them, was extremely eerie.... The documentary on Netflix is called The Volcano, Rescue from Whakaari. SV Parlay is a hurricane damaged Lagoon 450 catamaran, which Colin rebuilt with friends and has started sailing around the world.
