SAAB 9000: First-class piloting

Saab had established a good reputation for itself by the second half of the 1970s, not only due to their unique high-quality cars that were in demand in both Europe and the US, but also thanks to their participation in motorsports, earning victories in many notable events, mostly thanks to Eric "Mr.Saab" Carlsson and Stig Blomqvist. The company remained profitable, but it still lagged behind its European competitors in sales, and seeing how they were starting to make their attempts to enter the E-segment, Saab also decided to join in and create their own business-class car, which would be named the Saab 9000!
