RX7 Barn Find - rare Mazda rotary survivor

This barn find classic Mazda RX-7 FB was pretty special, simply because it is our first experience trying to start up a Mazda rotary engine. The car in question is a 1983 'FB' phase 2 RX-7, so it's the early shape car that's extremely rare in the UK these days.  Thanks for stopping by The Late Brake Show. The owner, Bev, used to daily drive it after buying it in the late 1980s. But in winter traction was an issue (she lives high up in Yorkshire), and she'd noticed synchro on second gear becoming worn. She parked it inside her garage, removed the battery and covered it up. The garage door alone hadn't been opened in over 20 years, as the last time it shut on her head and drew blood!
