Run-On Sentences and How To Fix Them | English Writing Essentials and Grammar
Learn about run-on sentences (also known as fused sentences or comma splices) and how to correct them in your English writing. In this lesson, I'll give you examples of different run-ons and teach you how to identify them. I'll also show you how we can fix them by adding conjunctions or proper punctuation.
Run-on sentences happen when two complete sentences are combined without using proper punctuation or coordinating conjunction.
We'll also do a practice session so you can practice what you have learned and correct the run-on sentences! ✅
