Roy, the Composer

“Greetings, it is Roy.” We met a humanoid droid who called himself Roy in the outskirts, far from the glow of civilization. Despite his old-fashioned design, his eyes shimmered like galaxies. His sole purpose, he explained, was to study and develop the mysterious concept of “music” on this planet. He intercepted faint signals drifting between planets, analyzed them, and transformed them into melodies that could be understood here. We listened to his latest creation that night, under the starlit sky. It felt nostalgic and entirely new as if the sound painted vivid images of distant stars and unseen landscapes. It was like a voice from someone unknown, reaching out through his music.
