The Tour of Flanders is the 2nd monument on the cycling calendar. The race is notorious for being a complicated mix of cobblestones, hills, wind, narrow roads, positioning, and race tactics. Additionally, experience and race intelligence are necessary for any rider to do well on these roads of the Flemish Ardennes. But above all, it's a true hardman's race.
The main favorites for the 2016 edition were: Greg Van Avermaet, Peter Sagan, Fabian Cancellara, Sep Vanmarcke and Alexander Kristoff.
