Rip Cut Circular Saw guide with a Base Jig| Cut to the same width (subtitled)

A jig to rip cut using a circular saw guide. For those don't have a table saw, I'd like to share this design. Combining a circular saw guide that can cut 3x6 plywood and a base jig that holds the material and the guide. The built-in fence makes it easy to cut materials to the same width. Although it is possible to use the rip fence that comes with the circular saw, it is difficult to cut short pieces and it can't cut cleanly. With this jig, you can work with good accuracy and safety. The main purpose of common circular saw guides is to cut through plywood. There are also a variety of homemade jigs for crosscutting, but jigs for rip cut are rare. Still, when building furniture, there are many situations where you want to adjust the width of the material. The materials available at hardware stores are mainly building materials. The variations are limited, and they are a little too wide for furniture making. For example, 2x4 lumber can be rip cut to 2 and a half inch widths, and 1x10 material can be made into multiple thin pieces. Please see other related videos for crosscut jigs.
