Ridge Road in Rural China 4K HDR - Driving on a place that once made Emperor Happy

On this trip Started in the Western Mountains of Baoding, Hebei, China. There is a large reservoir here: Wangquan Reservoir - One of the four largest reservoirs in Hebei Province. According to legend, in the Qing Dynasty, Emperor Kangxi passed by this place on his way to Mount Wutai and felt very happy looking at the beautiful scenery in front of him. after that, this place was known as Wangkui, meaning the place where the emperor felt happy. We started from the northern part of the reservoir The first place we arrived at was Nijiawa Village, which is a picturesque and pristine village by the mountains and the water. Although it is located inland, there are many seagulls inhabiting the village in fall. After coming to the south shore of the reservoir, we turned into the ridge path in the village, and arrived at the Nanshan South Viewing Platform, where we could see the beautiful scenery of the whole reservoir.
