Richard Raffan turns punky box elder into a box with a suction-fit lid

This well-seasoned but punky box elder was difficult to cut cleanly, so you see how I deal with that without resorting to CA or other stabilizers. You see all the turning in real time with lots of close-up shots to show how the tools cut and the surfaces off the tool. At the end you see how a fine suction fit can vary. The box is 90mm x 105mm high. Tools used: I” skew chisel, ¾” skew chisel, ¾” square-end scraper, ½” spindle gouge, and a 1” asymmetric round-nose scraper.
