#flathead #restoration #asmr I recently purchased a 1949 Plymouth Special Deluxe 4 door sedan known by its engineering code Model P-15. It’s engine needed everything and a machine shop would charge me easily $3,000 for all of the parts and machining. Enter: Facebook marketplace. I found a $200 dollar 1952 engine out of a Plymouth crab room for sale a few miles from home. The owner sent me a video of the engine rotating freely and I zoomed across town to get it.
