Restoration of MYSTERY Dirty Piece - but what's INSIDE?

Hello folks! Today I will show you the restoration of what I do not know. It's mystery dirty piece. We will find out more precisely later in the video. It's simple - my friend is searching for metal underground with a metal detector. He gave me old things more than once, and this time he found a piece of clay petrified and said not to be I'm giving you this item. Well, I'm starting to restore the most interesting! Firstly, with the help of a mason's hammer, I broke the clay and found that, true, there was a piece of metal there! But what is it? After cleaning 90% of the clay, I placed the item in a rust remover. Hours later, I took out, removed the remaining earth from the object and washed it in water along with cleaning agent. I removed the remaining old rust with a sandblaster. Next, I started adjusting the cutting edge and sanding the surface of the cleaver. After that, I started polishing the blade. The handle of this knife I made of plastic and beech wood. Brass rivets used. I also made a leather case, not a scabbard - it's just more convenient to store the item this way.
