Drawing without looking is always its own challenge. I think I've found that it's maybe not that hard to draw individual shapes, but it's more their relationship to all the other shapes in the drawing (in location and scale) that becomes difficult. Maybe this betrays the way I analyze drawings, or just a product of the tools I'm using. Either way, maybe I could improve in the future by having a more holistic vision of the painting, instead of thinking of it as an assembly of separate elements.
