Repairing a Valeo Alternator (FG18S019)

This BMW Valeo alternator with OEM number FG18S019 had a LIN/BSS problem and was not charging the battery inside the vehicle. Most common problems with this Valeo FG18 series are worn carbon brushes and worn sliprings. When u want to repair this alternator it's advised that the regulator is also replaced with a new one ! In 95% cases the regulator is damaged and needs to be replaced ! We used the following parts to repair this alternator: Front bracket bearing: 6303-2RS Rotor bearing: 6202-2RS Oem Valeo regulator: 599095
