This is a very old piece of Canadian furniture. The top of the table was split, one of the drawer supports was missing, and the table tilted to the back left corner. Watch to see how it gets repaired and restored to working order.
This table is typically called a lamp table or a kitchen work table. It can also be referred to as a pre-confederation table as it was made before Canadian confederation in 1867.
