Removing the Rotating Drum Memory from the Bendix G15
In the previous episode, we discovered that our drum had unfortunately suffered multiple head crashes, stopping us dead in our tracks. We’re left with two options: recoat the drum or replace the drum. It just so happens that Bob has a second G15 with a non-crashed drum in it. So, we’ll start with the replacement option, and then once we have one G15 up and running, we’ll get to work on the recoating option. But both options require the drum to be removed, so let’s get to it!
